[Saba Sports News] After the UEFA Champions League match between Barcelona and Benfica, Raphinha Alcantara was involved in a confrontation with Benfica players. Subsequently, all this tension spilled over to social media, where fans directed their anger towards Raphinha’s wife, Natalia. Natalia publicly condemned and showcased the racist insults and death threats directed at Raphinha, herself, and their 2-year-old son, Gail. In a post on social media, Natalia shared some of the messages: “You know I rarely share these kinds of things, but this time I decided to go public to show everyone how sick this world can be… I hadn’t even checked my account at that time, nor had I seen the racist attacks on my husband and son. But now it’s public, let everyone see how sick people are.” “You Brazilian whore, wife of a monkey.” “God is great, the devil will soon take your son away.” “It costs £50 here in London. You whore, old Brazilian woman.” These are some of the abusive messages Natalia shared on social media, along with death threats. Additionally, Natalia mentioned that this is just a small portion of the attacks they received, and her public condemnation led some of the online attackers to delete their accounts.
