[Saba Sports News] The F1 Mercedes team has just announced on their official website that they will release the new W16 race car on February 24. This event will be held digitally for a global debut, allowing fans worldwide to watch the unveiling through live streaming and other online platforms. While details are not fully disclosed, media sources have leaked some insider information. It is said that the W16 car will have comprehensive innovations in aerodynamics, powertrain, and suspension systems. The overheating issue of the W15’s rear tires has been a focal point for improvement. Additionally, while the unveiling will be online, the W16 livery will be revealed at the F1 75th Anniversary Celebration at London’s O2 Arena on February 18. This marks the first time since the 2012 W03 car that a new Mercedes vehicle will be launched without Lewis Hamilton’s involvement.
