[Saba Sports News] The Ferrari F1 team is conducting a three-day TPC test at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain. Lewis Hamilton ended the testing early after crashing, and it is reported that both he and Charles Leclerc will not participate in the third day of testing. According to Italian media outlet Auto Racer, Hamilton and Leclerc are set to leave Barcelona after the first two days of testing, allowing the Ferrari team to evaluate some of their reserve drivers on the third day. This was planned before Hamilton’s crash and was not a last-minute change due to the incident. Former Sauber driver Antonio Giovinazzi has served as a reserve for Ferrari since 2017 and will participate in the third day of testing alongside Dino Beganovic. The 21-year-old Beganovic is a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy and will compete in his first full F2 season for Hitech in 2025. This test will not only provide Beganovic with an opportunity to familiarize himself with F1 cars but will also help him accumulate mileage necessary to qualify for a super license. Currently, Ferrari has not officially confirmed their reserve driver for 2025, and the results of this test will be an important consideration for the team.
