[Saba Sports News] The year 2025 is the final year of the ground effect regulations, and teams are refining their modifications to the 2025 chassis. Besides the critical ground effect floor, other aspects will undoubtedly become key focus points for teams to achieve performance differentiation. Recently, racing media Racing News365 provided predictions and summaries regarding the 2025 F1 chassis and suggested fans pay special attention to the following changes. First is the comparison between pull-rod and push-rod suspension systems. Increasingly, evidence suggests that a front pull and rear push suspension layout seems to be a common choice among many teams. Since Mercedes changed its rear suspension to a push-rod configuration last year, the highly anticipated Ferrari team is likely to switch its front suspension to a pull-rod layout this year. Secondly, changes in suspension and radiator layout will prompt teams to make corresponding adjustments to cockpit positions, which will, in turn, affect the rear of the car. For example, considerations regarding whether to further reduce the size of the gearbox and whether it will interfere with the diffuser’s volume. Racing News365 also predicts that this year, all teams will make adjustments to the flexibility of the front wing. Last year, McLaren gained a significant advantage from this, becoming the team with the most upgrades to the rear wing. It is now certain that different specifications of rear wing upgrades will span the entire 2025 season.
