[Saba Sports News] Mick Schumacher, son of F1 legend Michael Schumacher, recently discussed his future in a media interview, expressing disappointment at not being able to showcase himself in F1. He even hinted that his F1 career might be over. Last season, Mick served as a reserve driver for Mercedes, but with veteran Valtteri Bottas’s return this season, he couldn’t keep that position. He stated, “I now have to focus on the next chapter of my racing career. It’s difficult to be in the F1 paddock watching others race and not being in the cockpit myself. I want to get back to a state of being 100% focused on racing.” Mick gained fame at a young age, winning the European F3 and F2 championships, laying a solid foundation for his F1 career. However, during his first F1 season, he did not score any points, and his second season saw a significant decline, ultimately leading Haas to not renew his contract. I believe that while Mick has hinted at the end of his F1 career, this doesn’t mean his racing career is over. On the contrary, he may continue to showcase his talent and skills in new fields or competitions.
