[Saba Sports News] The top mixed doubles duo from the Malaysian national badminton team, Chen Tang Jie and Toh Ee Wei, will make their comeback at the Orleans Badminton Super 300 tournament next month after a month of intense training, hoping to change their consecutive semifinal and quarterfinal finishes in the new season. Following that, they will also compete in the All England Open Super 1000 tournament from March 11 to 16. Information indicates that Chen and Toh officially became a fixed partnership in 2022 and won their first world tour championship together at the Orleans Badminton Super 300 tournament in April 2023. Regarding this, 27-year-old Chen expressed that participating in the Orleans tournament is not just preparation for the All England Championships. Winning the championship in Orleans two years ago remains a beautiful memory for them, and they hope to replicate that performance as Orleans has become a lucky venue for them. As for the All England Championships, Chen hopes to achieve a breakthrough and will not be satisfied with just reaching the quarterfinals or semifinals. Chen also mentioned that there are many Asian fans in England, and competing there feels like playing in Asia rather than in England.
