[Saba Sports News] According to Spanish media reports, Barcelona has pledged future compensation to Real Betis, ensuring no animosity due to Vitor Roque’s transfer. This season, Roque was loaned by Barcelona to Real Betis. So far, Roque has made 33 appearances for Real Betis, scoring 7 goals, but his playing time has recently decreased, and he is contemplating leaving. Since Palmeiras needs to participate in the Club World Cup this summer, the club wants to bring in Roque to strengthen their squad. They have promised Barcelona that they could buy 80% of Roque for €25 million this summer. Regarding Roque’s transfer to Palmeiras, Barcelona has already reached agreements with all parties involved, and Real Betis will not receive any fees now, but Barcelona has pledged future compensation to them. It is understood that there may be two ways Barcelona could compensate Real Betis in the future: first, by giving up part of Ez Abde’s ownership or secondary transfer shares; second, Real Betis could have priority in renting or signing young players from Barcelona who do not get much playing time this summer.
