[Saba Sports News] Seven-time F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton faced a tough start after joining Ferrari, raising doubts about his competitive status both inside and outside the paddock. However, Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur strongly countered these negative remarks, stating that the claim “Hamilton’s peak is over” is not only harsh but completely incorrect. In an interview, Vasseur backed up his claims with data, pointing out that last season, Hamilton was able to start from 16th and eventually finish 4th, surpassing his teammate. Vasseur explained to the media that he sees a more personable Hamilton compared to his time at Mercedes; he is willing to open up and communicate closely with the team and even accept criticism from the outside. Vasseur admitted that this rare honesty is turning into motivation for work. Recently, Hamilton has been frequently traveling between the UK and the Maranello factory, personally participating in the development and tuning of the SF-25 car. In response, some Ferrari fans noted that the seven-time champion’s adaptation to the new environment is exceeding expectations, and the current performance issues are more due to the car’s design limitations.
