[Saba Sports News] What started as a fun halftime moment quickly turned painful for one Atlanta Hawks fan on Tuesday night.
During halftime of the Hawks’ game against the Portland Trail Blazers at State Farm Arena, two fans were selected to participate in a Tic Tac Toe layup contest.
But as one of them went up for his first attempt, things took a rough turn—he slipped on the court and went down hard, clutching his left knee.
Medical staff responded quickly, bringing out a stretcher to assist the injured fan off the floor.
It’s every fan’s worst-case scenario: you sign up for a cool, light-hearted contest, and instead you’re wheeled off mid-game with a possible knee injury.
Tough break—and a tough reminder that adult knees don’t always play nice.
