[Saba Sports News] Steph Curry had a night to forget on Sunday—and fans were quick to remind him.
The Golden State Warriors star struggled mightily in a 106-96 loss to the Houston Rockets at Chase Center. Curry finished with just three points, shooting a miserable 1-for-10 from the field and failing to score a single point in the second half.
He also racked up four turnovers and made more headlines for his sideline spat with Rockets coach Ime Udoka than anything he did on the court.
Naturally, fans on X had a field day. The go-to joke? Curry matched Bronny James in scoring—yes, ‘that’ Bronny James.
The Lakers rookie also dropped three points on Sunday… in just three minutes of garbage time against the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder. Bronny’s lone shot attempt—a three-pointer—capped off a dominant 126-99 Lakers win.
Bronny hadn’t even played in two weeks, but still managed to equal Steph’s output for the night. No one’s seriously claiming Bronny is better than Curry (yet), but for one evening, the numbers didn’t lie—and the internet didn’t let it slide.
