[Saba Sports News] When Hamilton said with conviction before the Saudi Grand Prix, “I have no doubt that we will succeed, change takes time, and Ferrari is worth the wait,” the seven-time world champion was facing one of F1’s toughest transitions. In the four races since joining Ferrari from Mercedes, Hamilton has not only faced the pain of adjusting to the SF-25 but has also experienced the unique media scrutiny of the Italian team. Before each race, Hamilton has to face three times more media questions than in the UK. But surprisingly, the 40-year-old veteran has shown extraordinary patience and confidence. In fact, Hamilton’s optimism is not baseless. His performance at the Bahrain Grand Prix, where he chased from ninth to fifth, proves that he is gradually adapting to the control and team communication of the Ferrari car. Technical data shows that the Briton’s understanding of the car’s high-speed corner balance has increased by 27%, which is in stark contrast to his driving style developed during his time at Mercedes. More importantly, Hamilton has found that the Ferrari engineering team has “amazing passion,” and the team’s engineers are always able to quickly correct the defects reported by the drivers.
