[Saba Sports News] Nikola Jokic’s playoff antics are starting to raise eyebrows — and not in a good way.
A viral video surfaced Tuesday compiling several flops by the Denver Nuggets star during the first two games of their playoff series against the LA Clippers, which is now tied 1-1 following Denver’s Game 2 loss.
The footage shows Jokic exaggerating contact on multiple occasions, with each flop appearing more theatrical than the last. While a few of the flops earned whistles, many others were ignored by officials — but not by fans online.
At 6-foot-11 and 284 pounds, Jokic’s dramatic falls after minor contact — especially from much smaller guards like Norman Powell (6’4″) or Kris Dunn (6’3″) — looked particularly absurd.
Jokic, a three-time MVP and widely regarded as the best player in the NBA today, averaged a dominant 30-point, 13-rebound, 10-assist triple-double this season. That kind of production makes his flopping all the more puzzling, given he can control a game without resorting to questionable tactics.
Now in his 10th NBA season, Jokic has never had a reputation for flopping — but this postseason may be changing that narrative, putting him in the same conversation as other elite stars who’ve leaned into the dark arts of exaggeration.
