[Saba Sports News] After the Los Angeles Lakers were eliminated from the playoffs Wednesday night, LeBron James shared a simple but meaningful message with his son Bronny.
Following the Lakers’ 103-96 Game 5 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, LeBron kept his remarks low-key as he left the locker room, even when addressing Bronny.
“All right, have a good offseason. I’ll see you when I see you,” James said.
Though they’ll likely reconnect soon, the elder James made it clear that Bronny isn’t getting any special treatment just because he’s his son.
The Lakers have been pleased with Bronny’s development this season, despite limited on-court action—appearing in only 27 games—but his work ethic and growth behind the scenes have earned praise within the organization.
LeBron later told reporters that playing alongside Bronny this season was the greatest achievement of his career.
Now facing a long offseason, James has decisions ahead. While retirement seems unlikely, the 40-year-old just wrapped up another title-less season. Still, he remains highly productive, averaging 24.4 points, 8.2 assists, and 7.8 rebounds over 70 games in the regular season.
