[Saba Sports News] Recently, UEFA officially announced that 13 clubs were punished for failing to pay transfer fees, wages, taxes, etc. Among them, three teams were banned (with probation). On Friday, the UEFA Club Financial Control Body (CFCB) announced that 13 European clubs were fined for failing to pay debts owed to other clubs, employees, and tax authorities in the 2024-25 season. Lyon of Ligue 1 was fined 200,000 euros, Trabzonspor and FC Dynamo Batumi were fined 100,000 euros each, FC Shakhtar Donetsk and FC Astana were fined 50,000 euros each, Dynamo Tbilisi, Balkanyi, and KS Cracovia were fined 40,000 euros each, Tobol Kostanai was fined 30,000 euros, Lincoln Red Imps FC and FK Buducnost Podgorica were fined 10,000 euros each, while Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih Krivbass and Polissya Zhytomyr were warned. Meanwhile, FC Astana, Dynamo Tbilisi, and FC Batumi Dynamo were banned from participating in European competitions for one season, but the ban is conditional. If Astana repeats such behavior within the next two seasons, the ban will take effect. Similarly, if Dynamo Tbilisi or FC Dynamo Batumi repeat this behavior in the next season, the ban will take effect.
