[Saba Sports News] Tyrese Haliburton helped the Indiana Pacers complete yet another dramatic postseason comeback on Thursday night — and his longtime girlfriend Jade Jones was loving every moment of it.
Haliburton knocked down a game-winning jumper with just 0.3 seconds left to lift the Pacers past the Oklahoma City Thunder, 111-110, at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City. Indiana erased a sizable fourth-quarter deficit before Haliburton buried the clutch mid-range shot. (You can watch the clip here.)
Following the thrilling win, Jones took to Instagram to share a simple two-word reaction,
“3 more!!!!” she wrote on her story — a clear reference to the number of wins the Pacers need to capture the NBA title.
The Pacers have now pulled off five postseason wins after trailing by 15 or more points. Thursday’s victory also made them the first team since 1971 to win an NBA Finals game after trailing by at least 9 points with under three minutes remaining.
Haliburton and Jones have been together since their college days at Iowa State. Throughout the Pacers’ playoff run, Jones has been a vocal and visible supporter of both Haliburton and the team.
