[Saba Sports News] The 2023 FIFA Club World Cup will see 32 teams competing across 63 matches this summer. A total of eight group stage matches have been played as of Tuesday, with over 340,000 fans attending these matches according to FIFA. The opening match between Inter Miami and Al Ahly drew an attendance of 60,927 spectators, while Paris Saint-Germain versus Atletico Madrid attracted 80,619 people to the Rose Bowl stadium, making it the largest crowd for any match involving either club in the 2024-25 season so far. FIFA also noted that nearly 1.5 million tickets have been sold for the tournament thus far, with buyers from 130 countries and regions outside the United States. Countries with significant ticket purchases include Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Canada, France, Japan, Germany, the UK, and Portugal. Additionally, FIFA has announced that for every ticket sold for the tournament, they will donate $1 to charity to help children around the world access quality education and football training opportunities.
