Recently, during a YouTube channel program called Mowlihawk, paparazzo Jordi Martin revealed how he obtained this exclusive scoop. Martin stated that once he learned about Pique’s relationship with a 22-year-old Barcelona girl, he took action: “I have always maintained good relations with Shakira’s family, though she and I aren’t friends. When I discovered Pique’s unfaithfulness to Shakira, I began investigating.” He learned of the situation in June and captured the photos on August 23. It wasn’t an easy task; you have to keep an eye on other cars in the parking lot and stake out for long periods. Later, he spent €5,000 to bribe someone who provided him information about their attendance at a private wedding in northern Catalonia. Security was tight, but Martin successfully photographed Pique and Clara while hiding in the woods. Martin disclosed that this photo sold for over €100,000, the highest payout he’s ever received for a single photo.
