[Saba Sports News] Recent rumors about Max Verstappen possibly switching to the Aston Martin team have once again sparked heated discussions, but Aston Martin simulator driver Daniel Juncadella bluntly denied the claim, saying that even a 1 billion pound contract would not tempt the four-time F1 world champion. Verstappen’s current contract with Red Bull expires in 2028. Despite constant speculation linking him to Mercedes and Aston Martin, Red Bull insiders have always maintained that Verstappen remains fully committed to the team. Juncadella criticized some media and fans for taking the transfer rumors seriously, stating that anyone with a normal mind wouldn’t believe such claims. He believes that while Aston Martin is ambitious and has hired legendary designer Adrian Newey, it still cannot guarantee a championship path in the short term. Verstappen himself also clearly stated in an interview that he would fulfill his contract until 2028.
