[Saba Sports News] According to Spanish media reports, the Barcelona Foundation has donated a large amount of sports equipment to four local social organizations to support their work. The report states that the Barcelona Club Foundation once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting and social responsibility by donating a large quantity of sports supplies to four local organizations: the Red Cross, Sargim Foundation, Barcelona Diocesan Charity, and Roure Foundation. These organizations provide assistance and services to the most vulnerable members of society. The club donated over 22,000 pieces of various sports equipment to these organizations. The donation ceremony was held at the headquarters of Cares Foundation, which focuses on logistics and production services aimed at promoting employment for people with intellectual disabilities or those at risk of exclusion. The Barcelona Foundation stated: “Barcelona has strong mobilization power. For many people, receiving materials with the Barcelona logo from the foundation has particular value and brings great motivation. We support vulnerable groups through organizations with significant social impact, and we do this through Cares Foundation, which we have long-term cooperation with and shares the same mission: inclusion through sports and work.”
