[Saba Sports News] After the Austrian Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton clearly expressed his dissatisfaction with the strategy execution to Ferrari. He pointed out that using the exact same strategy as Charles Leclerc cost him the chance to push further in the race and warned the team that if they continued like this, he might ignore the team’s instructions. In the Austrian Grand Prix, both drivers started on medium tires, and their performances were similar in the first half of the race. However, the key difference lay in the execution of the two-stop strategy. Hamilton had originally hoped to extend the first part of the race to take advantage of potential changes in the second half, but the team forced him to pit early. He ultimately finished in fourth place, behind his teammate Leclerc. Hamilton believes the team was too conservative, focusing only on ensuring a third- or fourth-place finish. But as a seven-time F1 world champion, he is not satisfied with just that. Hamilton bluntly said: “I’m not here to finish fourth and go home. I’m fighting for every possible point.”
