[Saba Sports News] According to Spanish media, FC Barcelona is actively seeking new sponsors and is close to finalizing a sponsorship deal with the Republic of the Congo. Reports state that in order to improve its current financial situation and achieve a balanced budget, Barcelona is striving to find new sources of income to participate normally in the transfer market. In recent months, the club has held multiple meetings with potential sponsors to evaluate various commercial collaboration possibilities. Although some contacts were abandoned for different reasons, some proposals are still progressing and may be finalized soon. The most advanced is the partnership with the Republic of the Congo, which would include the slogan “RDC, Heart of Africa” on the team’s jerseys. In fact, on May 19, Congolese Prime Minister Didier Budimba arrived in Barcelona and visited the club’s offices, meeting with senior management. His team also toured the sports complex and personally introduced the project, which attracted interest from the club’s leadership. This deal is expected to generate approximately 40 million euros for Barcelona. According to reports, negotiations have entered the final stage and could be officially announced next week, ahead of the club’s tour.
