[Saba Sports News] Four-time champion Sebastian Vettel recently announced in an interview that his F1 career has come to an end. He stated, “My F1 career is over. There comes a time when you should step aside for others. There are now many young drivers competing, and many seats belong to younger drivers. I think that’s a good thing. I’m not against older drivers, but I think young people should be given opportunities.” However, Vettel remains open to future participation in WEC, believing that WEC, with only eight races per year, is easier to manage compared to F1, which has as many as 24 races annually. At the age of 38, Vettel is one of the representatives of F1 from the late 2000s to the 2010s. He won four consecutive world titles with Red Bull from 2010 to 2013, then moved to Ferrari in 2015, winning 14 race victories, but failed to claim another championship. After two seasons with Aston Martin, he retired at the end of 2022. Although he occasionally appears at F1 events for various activities, he has not participated in any full-season competitions since then.
