[Saba Sports News] According to Spanish media reports, the construction company ACS, owned by Perez Florentino, has signed a contract with CoreWeave to build a massive artificial intelligence data center in Pennsylvania, USA. The project will be implemented by ACS’s US subsidiary Turner, and the contract amount is 5.16 billion euros. This deal strengthens Florentino’s company’s position in the U.S. market, where the company has previously completed projects in healthcare, education, and logistics. The data center will be built in Lancaster, one of the emerging technology innovation hubs in the US, and according to reports, the facility is designed to handle advanced AI workloads. It will initially have a power capacity of 100 megawatts, expandable to 300 megawatts. The construction will be coordinated by Chirisa Technology Park Company and Machine Investment Group. Turner is gaining more prominence within the ACS group, contributing nearly 40% of the group’s annual profits in 2024. This is not the only tech project for ACS; in June, the group acquired Chilean Fleischmann to capitalize on the growing demand for data centers in Latin America. Meanwhile, through its German subsidiary Hochtief, the group has signed two contracts worth a total of 130 million euros in Europe. In the sports sector, Florentino’s Real Madrid has also performed strongly, with revenue reaching 1.185 billion euros for the 2024-25 season, maintaining profitability and breaking the 1 billion euro revenue mark for the second consecutive season.
