[Saba Sports News] Real Madrid is upgrading the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium with 10,000 RGB LED lights and additional internal screens, per Spanish media. Workers are currently cleaning and repainting the exterior “leaf” structures of the stadium. The aluminum shell will then be fitted with dynamic LED lighting, enabling programmable light shows using video-mapping technology for immersive visual effects. Additionally, a new LED ring screen will be installed between the second and third tiers, complementing the existing lower ring screen and the 360° overhead scoreboard to enhance the in-stadium experience. The lighting system also serves a functional purpose, preventing light leakage during night matches. Preliminary tests are already underway in some sections.
