It is known that the car Kim gifted to his mother is a Porsche, valued at over 2 billion South Korean won. In fact, Kim Won Ho is also a person of great reputation. Her name is Gil Young-ah, who won the gold medal in mixed doubles at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, as well as a bronze medal in women’s doubles at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics and a silver medal in women’s doubles at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. Kim Won Ho became famous in the Korean badminton world at a young age. In 2017, he joined the Korean team to win the Sudirman Cup. After that, he achieved remarkable results, winning multiple open men’s doubles and mixed doubles titles, as well as a third place in the Asian Championships in men’s team. At the 2024 Paris Olympics, he partnered with Jeong Na Eun to win the mixed doubles silver medal. In 2025, Kim Won Ho and Seo Seung-jae won the men’s doubles titles at the Malaysia and All England Super 1000 events, becoming strong contenders for the Los Angeles Olympics men’s doubles gold medal.
