[Saba Sports News] This past Monday, Barcelona conducted technical and operational tests at Camp Nou to verify the proper functioning of key facilities and validate internal matchday procedures. These tests represent one of the multiple verification steps in the stadium’s overall commissioning process. The focus was on the stands and the southern goal area, with participation from various club department – including safety and operations, maintenance, facilities management, catering, and IT – as well as external partners involved on matchdays. Key stadium systems were evaluated, such as sports and ambient lighting, the public address system, fire detection and suppression systems, emergency exits, alarms and evacuation protocols, accessibility features, signage, and other critical elements ensuring smooth operations. The tests helped identify potential technical or operational adjustments needed, marking a significant step forward in the project’s timeline. The ultimate goal is to ensure all facilities meet regulatory standards and are optimized for the stadium’s partial reopening. Over the coming weeks, the club will continue carrying out technical validations and tests to guarantee that, from day one, the stadium delivers the best possible experience for members, fans, and visitors.
