[Saba Sports News] According to Spanish media, the pitch at Camp Nou has been fully installed, but the date for Barcelona’s return to the stadium remains undecided. In June, Barcelona announced that the team would return to Spotify Camp Nou on August 10 for the Ganso Cup against Como. However, a few weeks ago, the club canceled the plan themselves because they didn’t have enough time to obtain the initial usage permit from the City Council of Barcelona. Since then, Barcelona has not given a new return date, but they have not hidden their efforts to speed up the construction work, hoping that the highly anticipated return could happen during the weekend of September 13-14, when Barcelona will host their first home match of the next season against Valencia. In the past few weeks, significant progress has been made in the renovation of Camp Nou. For example, the entire pitch has now been laid. It is not yet confirmed when Barcelona will return, but it is certain that if they return to Camp Nou for the match against Valencia, the number of spectators will not reach 60,000. Camp Nou is expected to be able to hold 60,000 fans by October, assuming no unexpected issues occur.
