[Saba Sports News] Recently, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola revealed in an interview that midfielder Rodri has once again suffered a serious injury and will be out until after the September international break. Rodri had just recovered from an 8-month-long torn cruciate ligament injury. However, he returned to play just five games and then sustained another injury. This means that over the course of a full year, Rodri has been unable to maintain a normal training and match rhythm. In fact, injuries were not common for Rodri in his career. Before 2024, he had only suffered three minor injuries, totaling less than a month out. But since the summer of 2024, Rodri has experienced hamstring injuries, a cruciate ligament tear, and was injured again during the Club World Cup against Al-Hilal. He has now been confirmed to be out for two months until the end of next month – a rather unfortunate situation. Since the start of the summer training, Rodri has mostly trained alone, hoping that after the September international break, he can finally return to full health.
