[Saba Sports News] According to Spanish media reports, LaLiga has filed a complaint with the Spanish National Police regarding alleged racist attacks targeting Vinicius Junior and Kylian Mbappe during a match between Real Madrid and Real Oviedo earlier this month. The incidents occurred during the league game at Oviedo’s Carlos Tartiere Stadium, where fans repeatedly directed monkey chants at the players. LaLiga’s complaint includes broadcast evidence from Movistar’s program El Dia Despues and widely circulated videos on social media. In response, Real Oviedo president Martin Pelaez stated: “Regarding the alleged racist incidents last Sunday, I want to emphasize that Real Oviedo condemns all forms of racism, machismo, and discrimination. We are working with security personnel to investigate the events. If there is even the slightest evidence, we will take action to punish and prevent such behavior. This cannot happen here or anywhere else.”
