Regarding the charges against Barcelona head coach Hans-Dieter Flick and assistant coach Marcus Sorg, UEFA’s appeals body has issued the following ruling: Barcelona’s appeal is partially upheld. Consequently, the decision made by the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body on July 31, 2025, is now modified as follows: For violating basic rules of conduct and principles of fair play, Barcelona head coach Hans-Dieter Flick is fined €20,000 and suspended from his team’s next match (the next match for which he would be eligible). This match ban is suspended for a probationary period of one year from the date of this decision.
