[Saba Sports News] In a new global video released by Honda, four-time F1 world champion Max Verstappen appeared in Italy for a close-up experience with Honda’s latest HondaJet Elite II light business jet. As a driver who frequently travels the world on private jets, Verstappen couldn’t help but remark after the tour: “I think I could get used to this kind of life.” Accompanied by the captain, Verstappen carefully examined the engine mounts above the wings of this small business jet. This unique design not only expands the cabin space but also reduces engine vibration transmission into the cabin. The captain informed Verstappen that the aircraft’s takeoff horsepower is similar to that of an F1 car. Verstappen responded: “This installation method is special, different from most jets, and the nose design is almost like a bullet.” Upon entering the cockpit, he was impressed by the plane: “There are fewer buttons; this is really advanced and so cool.” It is worth noting that Verstappen is no stranger to air travel – he recently sold his Dassault Falcon 900EX and upgraded to a higher-end Dassault Falcon 8X (registration number PH-UTL), reportedly costing nearly $58 million. This long-range business jet has a range of over 10,000 nautical miles and a top speed of about 592 mph, far outperforming the HondaJet Elite II.
