[Saba Sports News] Indian badminton star Jwala Gutta recently welcomed the birth of her child and subsequently donated a batch of breast milk, totaling up to 30 liters, to a local hospital. It is reported that Gutta did this to promote milk banks and raise public awareness. Later, she posted on social media: “Breast milk saves lives. For premature and sick infants, donated breast milk can change their destiny. If you are able to donate, you could be a hero for a family in need. Learn more, share information, and support milk banks!” Breast milk donation involves mothers donating their excess milk to milk banks to provide life-saving nutrition for vulnerable infants. This is especially crucial for premature babies, as their digestive systems are immature and their immunity is not fully developed, making them highly susceptible to illnesses. Donated breast milk is rich in easily digestible nutrients and important antibodies, which can significantly reduce this risk. For mothers who cannot produce enough breast milk or for adoptive families, donated breast milk is a vital alternative.
