[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, Chelsea star Raheem Sterling has been targeted by burglars for a second time. The break-in occurred last Saturday around 6:30 PM local time. It is reported that after the robbers broke into Sterling’s home, the brave father disarmed a weapon and confronted the masked intruders to protect his family. A source said, “He had no choice. He did what any father would do to protect his children. He needed some form of self-defense as he was facing multiple masked men.” Sterling and his children were at home during the incident, and all are safe. The Thames Valley Police are investigating. A spokesperson stated, “Officers are conducting a comprehensive investigation and appeal to anyone with relevant information or who witnessed suspicious individuals in the area to contact the police.” Notably, in December 2022 during the Qatar World Cup, Sterling abruptly left the England team camp after his home was burgled but returned before the quarter-finals.
