[Saba Sports News] Brazilian club Sao Paulo has issued a statement confirming that Oscar dos Santos was diagnosed with a heart abnormality during a medical examination. He was subsequently hospitalized and is now in stable condition. According to Brazilian media, Oscar felt unwell and even lost consciousness during a cycling test on Tuesday morning. The medical team provided immediate assistance. After being hospitalized, his condition gradually stabilized. Reports indicate Oscar has been concerned about his heart for several months. In late July, he suffered a lumbar transverse process fracture, and an abnormality was already detected at that time. Further examination then reportedly cleared him to continue playing. Sources close to the player reveal Oscar is considering whether to continue his career, potentially terminating his contract with Sao Paulo and retiring. The 34-year-old Oscar has played for Internacional, Chelsea, Shanghai SIPG, and Sao Paulo. He returned to Brazil as a free agent after last season’s Chinese Super League concluded.
