[Saba Sports News] An Argentine report highlights a young football-loving teacher, Camilla Brambilla, who cleverly incorporated Argentine star Lionel Messi into her grading system, quickly gaining popularity on social media. Camilla Brambilla posted a short video showing her using various Messi meme images instead of traditional scores while grading student assignments, creating a fun way to teach mathematics. The 30-second video, posted on October 23rd, has amassed over 300,000 views, earning her the title “the coolest teacher in the world” from many netizens and media outlets. “I never expected such a big reaction,” said Camilla Brambilla, explaining this method helps reduce students’ anxiety about grades. “Who would want to make Messi sad?” she added. Camilla Brambilla, who started teaching at a private secondary school in the suburbs of Buenos Aires last year, often tells her students, “You are not defined by numbers.” Thus, she devised this simple yet effective method to convey that message, attaching funny Messi memes to each assignment to downplay the pressure of traditional grading. Students, especially those aged 14-15, have responded enthusiastically, often exclaiming, “Oh no, I made Messi cry!” or “Ah, Messi is happy today!” making everyone delighted.
