[Saba Sports News] According to Italian media reports, Tudor has terminated his contract with Juventus, foregoing a pre-tax salary of €3 million, but Juventus still needs to pay €5 million. Tudor and Juventus have officially dissolved his coaching contract, which was set to expire in 2027. This allows the former Juventus coach to begin evaluating offers from abroad; however, if he wishes to coach an Italian team, he will need to wait until next season.
Tudor previously had a contract with a net annual salary of €3 million, and the original 18-month contract was expected to occupy Juventus’s pre-tax budget by about €8 million. With the termination, Tudor has given up half a year’s salary, thus saving the club €3 million and only requiring them to pay the remaining €5 million to him.
Meanwhile, Juventus is in negotiations to extend Luciano Spalletti’s contract until 2028. Additionally, another former Juventus coach, Thiago Motta, still has a contract in effect until 2027.
