[Saba Sports News] According to Spanish media reports, Real Madrid star Raúl Asensio visited a young fan battling leukemia. On his day off, Asensio once again showed his most caring side. Eight-year-old Elias from the Canary Islands has been fighting leukemia since 2023, and when he felt unwell, Asensio took immediate action.
Asensio visited the Ronald McDonald House in Madrid, a facility established by the fast-food chain’s foundation, located next to the University Hospital for Children specializing in cancer treatment. Additionally, Asensio made a special trip to surprise the children living there, playing with them and taking photos with all the kids who wanted a picture.
The Ronald McDonald House wrote on its social media, “It was truly an incredible day, filled with emotions, hugs, laughter, and many photos, especially the happy smiles on the children’s faces that said it all. These simple yet special moments filled the entire house with hope and made everything a little easier. Thank you, Asensio, for taking the time and for proving that wonderful surprises can indeed change a day… and in a big way.”
