[Saba Sports News] Recently, French football legend Zinedine Zidane helped a young girl suffering from a rare disease. Nine-year-old Lola has a rare genetic disorder. Her parents recently organized a raffle with a signed jersey donated by Zidane as the prize. The funds raised will go to the association “Wings for Lola”, which supports research into Tango 2 disease—a metabolic condition with fewer than 30 known cases in France. Zidane did not only send a jersey to Lola’s family; he also visited them in person and spent time with them. Tickets for the raffle were priced at €2 each. Lola’s parents have reportedly raised €2,500 through this event. They had already contributed €165,000 to research through previous initiatives.
The editor believes that Zidane’s kindness went far beyond a jersey. He took the time to spend a warm moment with the family. Zidane truly shared time with Lola; it was not just a simple autograph, but a sincere interaction.
