[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, Manchester City midfielder Rodri has annoyed his neighbours by flying a drone outside his apartment window, and they have reported him to the police. Reports say Rodri has angered residents of a central city high-rise building next door to his luxury top-floor apartment. They claim his hobby of flying drones has invaded their privacy and left them worried he can see inside their homes while they are relaxing. Police now plan to speak to Rodri to ensure he understands the relevant laws. Several residents of the building in Salford, Greater Manchester, have asked their concierge to contact management at Rodri’s building, while some have also contacted the police over fears he is breaking strict rules on where drones can be flown and what they can film.
The editor believes that drone operators must respect privacy and must not cause a nuisance to others. In addition, before flying most drones, operators must pass a theoretical exam and register with the civil aviation authority. Rodri may have violated laws against voyeurism and harassment, as well as flight regulations.
