[Saba Sports News] Max Verstappen has announced that he will drive a Red Bull-liveried Mercedes car to participate in this year’s Nürburgring 24-hour endurance race. He and his teammates revealed the new Mercedes-AMG GT3 car in a cool skydiving video. The Nürburgring 24-hour endurance race is scheduled to take place from May 14-17 this year, and Verstappen will team up with Mercedes factory drivers Lucas Orr, Jules Gounon, and the newly signed Daniel Juncadella from the Genesis supercar program to drive car number 3. Orr, Gounon, and Juncadella all have extensive experience competing at the Nürburgring, with Gounon and Juncadella having previously raced as teammates for the Tempesta Racing team in the European GT World Challenge. Regarding this high-profile participation, Verstappen stated that no other track can compare. The Nürburgring 24-hour endurance race has long been on his wish list, and he is very happy to achieve this goal.
