[Saba Sports News] According to British media, two Arsenal fans have been arrested by London police for posing as stadium staff of Crystal Palace. Arsenal travelled away to face Crystal Palace on the final matchday of the Premier League season, and the Premier League title presentation ceremony was held after the game. Crystal Palace had imposed strict ticket restrictions ahead of the fixture to stop Arsenal supporters from entering the home stands. Nevertheless, away fans were still spotted in the home sections during the match. Extra police officers were deployed around the stadium and stationed at entrances to prevent unauthorised access. The Metropolitan Police confirmed to the media that two individuals wearing high-visibility vests were taken into custody on suspicion of impersonating stadium staff.
The editor believes that after the final whistle, many Arsenal fans who had tickets for the home stands gathered near the official away section to join the team’s title celebration. Despite the arrests mentioned above, the match and subsequent events passed generally without further incidents or clashes.
