[Saba Sports News] British media reports that thousands of England fans are planning last-minute trips to the World Cup, as prices for match tickets, accommodation and flights have dropped significantly. A surge of Three Lions supporters is set to travel to the United States for the tournament, driven by a host of great last-minute deals. Due to slumping demand for overpriced tickets set by organiser FIFA, the governing body has been forced to cut ticket prices for all 104 matches held across the United States, Canada and Mexico. On FIFA’s official resale platform, the cheapest ticket for England’s opening game against Croatia has fallen from £837 in April to £594. Tickets for the clash with Ghana have dropped from £690 last month to £517, while those for the fixture against Panama are now priced at £560, down from £690. In addition, FIFA has released around 70 percent of the hotel rooms it previously booked in bulk back onto the market.
