[Saba Sports News] According to Brazilian media, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) arranged exclusive use of a medical clinic in advance and had its staff sign confidentiality agreements to prevent leaks of Neymar’s examination results. It was confirmed by the CBF early on Wednesday that Neymar would undergo imaging scans while staying in Teresópolis to prepare for the World Cup. CBF officials headed to the CDT Clinic around noon to negotiate exclusive access to the facility in the evening. Following talks, the clinic agreed to close at 4 p.m., three hours earlier than its usual 7 p.m. closing time, to protect Neymar’s privacy during his appointment. All medical personnel involved in the imaging tests signed non-disclosure agreements to strictly prevent any release of related information and medical images. Neymar arrived at the clinic at about 5 p.m. and finished his examinations at 6:30 p.m., before returning to the Comari Sports Complex.
The editor believes that from what sources close to Neymar revealed, he appeared downbeat and quiet during his time at the clinic, which is roughly six kilometres away from the Comari Sports Complex. Up to now, Neymar has still not joined the team’s group training sessions.
