[Saba Sports News] British media recently revealed details surrounding the theft of belongings belonging to the England national football team. It is reported that practically everything inside a delivery truck was looted. Most worryingly, the players’ boots intended for use in the World Cup were also stolen. Some of these boots were embroidered with personalised commemorative emblems, and many were custom-made to fit each player’s foot shape, complete with orthotic insoles designed to boost comfort and athletic performance. A large number of essential training supplies and football boots were taken, with leftover items scattered across the scene, leaving a total mess. Thieves even attempted to steal the players’ table tennis table, only for it to get damaged during transportation. A dartboard was spared, yet the darts themselves remain missing. Some Lego bricks and Thomas Tuchel’s tactical boards also escaped the theft. Unfortunately, the official match balls used for training were stolen. These balls are vital for players to adapt to their flight paths and bounce characteristics.
The editor believes that this security breach is a major concern for England’s logistics team and has raised serious questions about how they transport equipment between various venues throughout the tournament.
