Upon the team’s charter jet touching down at El Alamein Airport, the aircraft received the highest honor of a water cannon salute. Thousands of Egyptian supporters flocked to the terminal, holding up portraits of star player Mohamed Salah and banners celebrating the side’s historic breakthrough, cheering loudly to welcome their heroes home.
