(sabasports report)Manchester City striker Julian Alvarez is putting pressure on the club to leave this summer, according to Juan Cortese, a journalist at TYC Sports. He is very interested in the career prospects offered by Atletico Madrid and sees it as a match for his current career pursuits.

In the just-concluded Copa America, Alvarez made four starts in five appearances and scored two goals to help Argentina successfully defend its title. He also won 15 titles, including the English Premier League and the Copa America. But he seemed to run out of steam with his frequent wins.
Last season, Alvarez played 54 games for Manchester City, contributed 19 goals and 13 assists, was one of the city won the European Super Cup, the Club World Cup and achieved a fourth consecutive Premier League title. While Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland were out injured, Alvarez switched freely from center to forward midfield and excelled.
Alvarez is hoping to leave Manchester City for a team that, despite being a long shot at the title, will give him more playing time. He saw Atletico Madrid, managed by compatriot Diego Simeone, as a place where he could pursue his career.
