[Saba Sports News] Justin Brownlee displayed accurate outside shooting to lead Barangay Ginebra to a 122-105 victory over San Miguel Beer, Got off to a good start in the opening game of the PBA Governor’s Cup semifinal Series.

Brownlee scored 33 points, including 20 in the third quarter, as the Golden Boys began to pull away and eventually win.
“I thought we played well in the first half, but I knew we needed to play better in the second half and that’s what I asked for at halftime,” said coach Tim Cone. “We were playing at our own pace, and this guy (Brownlee)… He hit shot after shot and really allowed us to extend the lead.”
Surprisingly, Brownlee, a three-time foreign recruit of the year, hit his first five shots in a row from well beyond the four-point line at one point in the game. Before this season, he had made only 13 of his 47 attempts from that distance.
