The playoff series between SAN Miguel and the tenacious Converge FiberXers was decided in Game 5, leaving little time for the team to rest and adjust. In contrast, the Golden Kings were well prepared for the best-of-seven semi-final after a three-game sweep against the Meralco Bolts.
Despite the physical disadvantage, SAN Miguel coach Jorge Gallent still has confidence in his team. “We have to be better against the Golden Kings,” Gallent said after closing out the final game against Converge.
