(SabaSports) French forward Guerschon Yabusele has signed with the Philadelphia 76ers on a one-year, $2.1 million contract.

It was previously reported that Guerschon Yabusele’s release from Real Madrid was worth $2.5 million. According to league rules, the Sixers can only pay a maximum of $850,000, and the remaining $1.65 million needs to be negotiated with Real Madrid.
Guerschon Yabusele excelled at the Olympics, especially in the last three knockout games, where he averaged 19.67 points per game against Canada, Germany and the United States to help France win an Olympic silver medal.
Yabusele was the 16th overall pick in the 2016 NBA draft by the Boston Celtics and spent two seasons in the NBA, playing 74 regular season games and averaging 2.3 points and 1.4 rebounds in 6.6 minutes per game.
