(sabasports report) Genoa’s sporting director Stefano Ottolini spoke to the media about goalkeeper Josep Martinez’s rumoured move to Inter, confirming that Genoa are in talks with the club but that the deal has not yet been finalised.
Ottolini SAID: “Everything IS STILL to be confirmed. Inter have already shown an interest and we are in talks.”
“Martinez is a fairly young goalkeeper, he has a good character, he has a vision, he doesn’t feel pressure, he has good feet, which is a very popular trait in modern football,”
Martinez played 36 games for Genoa last season, conceding 43 goals and finishing eight games with zero goals, and is worth 8 million euros.
